NEC Display Solutions announced the SpectraViewII® color calibration solution. By combining NEC display technology with an ultra-sensitive color measurement sensor and sophisticated software, SpectraViewII delivers an advanced and easy-to-use calibration and profiling solution for color-critical applications such as computer graphics, digital animation, medical imaging, pre-press production and film, video and photo editing studios, the company reports.

SpectraViewII software is designed for NEC SpectraView professional-level LCD displays. SpectraViewII features greater sensitivity and better color accuracy compared to previous releases, plus it features the flexibility to support multiple displays on a single system. It also can be utilized over a network using NEC’s NaViSet Administrator software for remote calibration and asset management.

The Eye-One Display 2, a co-branded colorimeter from GretagMacbeth, is included in the product. The Eye-One Display 2 colorimeter measures color and light from the displays.
